U-Channel Soil Anchor Plate for 2# & 2.5# Posts

The Traffic Safety Products U Channel Soil Anchor Plate attaches to your u channel sign post with 5/16" hardware. Soil anchors are a highly effective soil stabilization method, preventing loosening and pullout in high wind conditions. To install, both the post and attached anchor plate are driven directly into the ground with a post driver. Soil anchors should be a minimum of 10" below soil grade when fully installed, for maximum post stabilization. If using a 2-part breakaway post system, the top of your base post should protrude no more than 4" above soil level.
