The most typical square tube widths we sell are 1.5", 1.75", and 2". The vast majority of traffic signs are manufactured out of .080 aluminum - that's just eight one-hundredths of an inch! - with two holes, on center, for mounting to your sign post. The traffic sign sizes we sell most frequently are 12" x 18", 24" x 24", 36" x 36", and 48" x 48". That's quite a range in surface area!

Multiply the width (in inches) by the height (in inches) and then divide by 144 (12" x 12" = 144" - or one square foot)
