Traffic Safety Products Expands its Offerings to Include Runway Markers and Airport Barricades 

We're always on the lookout for new product offerings that fit into our mission of making roads safer for people on foot and in vehicles. Recently we realized that we were leaving out an important group of people - people in planes! We've since expanded our mission and our offerings and now have a section on our website dedicated to Airport Safety Products.

Runway Markers

We offer four styles of hi-intensity retroreflective markers that are perfect for airport taxiways, runway edges, thresholds and end of runway. All runway markers are tested and certified by ETL to the FAA's L-853 standard and are certified by ETL to meet the specifications of the FAA Advisory Circular: 150/5345-39C.

The reboundable airport marker posts are made of co-extruded polyethylene with U.V. inhibitors. Fasteners are manufactured from high strength plastic resulting in a product that offers superior corrosion resistance and long term performance. These high quality, long lasting and resilient posts help keep costs down.

These highly versitile airport markers can also be installed in/on:

• Soil
• Asphalt
• Concrete

Low Profile Airport Barricades

Low profile interlocking barricade systems are designed for performance, durability, & convenience. They are FAA Advisory Circular No. 150/5370-2F compliant, and can be used to:

• Close Taxiways
• Close Runways
• Delineate Construction Areas

Specifications

Interlocking barricades are 8 feet long by only 10 inches high and weigh 25 pounds when unfilled. Each barricade can be filled with up to 26 gallons, or 220 pounds, of water using two convient fill holes. Barricades are also equipped with a drain hole.

No separate pins are necessary, as the interlocking mechanism for the barricade is molded directly into the plastic.

Barricades accept either 360° round, screw-on airport lights, or standard bolt-on barricade lights, and also have two flag mounts.

Barricades are stackable, for easy transport and storage, and also have forklift depressions molded right into their base.
